18-year-old Pragati Shetty Commits Suicide at Kundapur
Kundapur: A 18-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself to the window of her bedroom at Bidkalkatte here, in the early hours of July 23.
The deceased has been identified as Pragati Shetty (18), daughter of Ganesh Shetty, a resident of Bikkalkatte, Kundapur. She was studying in the Government Pre-university College Biddalkatte. She completed her SSLC at the Morarji Desai Residential School.
A death note was found in Pragati’s room mentioned that her parents did not love her. Her parents did not visit her when she was studying at the Morarji residential school. She also alleged that her parents only love her younger sister and so, she was ending her life.
The Kota police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have also registered a case.
