19-year-old College Student Jumps from 5th Floor, Dies
Mangaluru: A 19-year-old student committed suicide by jumping from the 5th floor of the college building in Moodbidri here on January 25.
The deceased has been identified as Rachana (19), a native of Davanagere.
According to College sources, since the students were having study holidays, on January 25 morning Rachana had gone to the Library to study. After some time she went near her classroom on the 5th floor and committed suicide by jumping down.
Rachana was rushed to the hospital in Mangaluru. But she breathed her last in the hospital.
The police have found a death note. A case has been registered in the Moodbidri Police station.
