19-year-old SVD Divine Centre Student Commits Suicide
Mangaluru: A 19-year-old student committed suicide by hanging to a tree near SVD Divine Centre, Damaskatte on February 19.
The deceased has been identified as Rosario (19) a native of Bangarapete, Kolar. He was the son of Ravikumar.
According to sources, Rosario had joined the SVD Divine center and was pursuing his PUC education at Pompei college, Damaskatte.
He secured low marks in PUC examinations for which the college authorities had asked Rosario to call his parents to discuss the matter with the principal. Rosario was depressed and hanged himself using his own Lungi to a tree near the Divine center.
Mulki police have registered a case.
