2 Die in KSRTC Bus – Car Head-on Collision at Panemangaluru
Bantwal: Two occupants of a car died and two others sustained severe injuries after the car in which they were traveling collided head-on into a KSRTC bus at Panemangaluru here on April 26.
The deceased have been identified as Sarojini and Rukmini both residents of Jeppu. The injured have been identified as Anusuya and car driver Umesh.
According to sources, on April 26 Sarojini, Anusuya, Rukmini and Umesh were on the way to Shamboor. When their car reached near Panemangaluru, a KSRTC bus coming from Puttur collided head-on to their car, as a result, two persons in the car died and two others were severely injured.
All the four were taken to the Hospital in Mangaluru but Sarojini and Rukmini breathed their last.
A case has been registered in the Bantwal traffic police station.
