2 Held in Attempt to Smuggle Ganja into Jail
Mangaluru: The Karnataka Industrial Security Force (KISF) on duty in the district jail arrested two persons while in the act of smuggling 30 gms of ganja into the district jail premises here.
A KISF sub-inspector, while checking visitors at the main gate, found Deekshit Poojary (22) of Arala in Bantwal and Ranjan Kottary (20) of Veeranagar in Kannur on the outskirts carrying the contraband.
They have said that it was to be delivered to Harish Poojary, an undertrial in the jail. The arrested two were produced in court and sent to judicial custody.
