2 Youth Drown in Seetha River at Avarshe
Kundpaur: Two youth reportedly drowned in the Seetha River at Avarshe near Kota, where they had gone for swimming on May 17 evening.
The deceased have been identified as Kiran Poojary (22) son of Parvathi a resident of Manikallu Billadi and Vikram Poojary (22).
Vikram was working on a private bus as a conductor, while Kiran Poojary was working in a Hotel. Both had lost their fathers and were the only bread earners for the families.
According to the police, Kiran and Vikaram had come to their relatives’ house at Avarshe for lunch. After lunch, both decided to go for a swim in the river. As they were swimming, both were pulled by the strong currents. The locals started to search for them after seeing their clothes on the riverside. After two hours of search, the bodies of Kiran and Vikram were recovered.
A case has been registered in the Kota police station.
