20-year-old Youth from Bihar Stabbed to Death at Ullal
Mangaluru: A 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death by a hotel employee at Kuthar here on April 22.
The deceased has been identified as Nitesh (20), a native of Bihar and the injured has been identified as Pradeep.
According to sources, Nitesh, Tanveer, and Pradeep from Bihar were staying in a room and working in the hotel. On April 22, at a hotel near Shanthi bagh Kuthar, Nitesh, Tanveer and Pradeep had a fight. In a fit of rage, Tanveer stabbed Nitesh, when Pradeep tried intervene, Tanveer assaulted him.
Severely injured Nitesh and Pradeep were rushed to the hospital. Nitesh succumbed to injuries in the hospital. The condition of Pradeep is said to be critical.
After the incident, Tanveer fled from the spot. The Ullal police have reached the spot for investigations.
A case has been registered in the Ullal police station and search is on for Tanveer.
