21-year-old youth arrested while Selling Ganja

Mangaluru: A 21-year-old youth has been arrested by the Barke Police while he was selling Ganja to students at the KSRTC bus stand car parking area here on January 29.

The arrested has been identified as Tanvir Khan (21), a native of Odisha.

On January 29, after getting information that a youth was selling Ganja to the public as well as the students, the Barke police arrested Tanvir at the KSRTC bus stand. The police have seized Rs 250 cash, 437 grams of Ganja and a mobile phone from his possession.

Under the able guidance of ACP central Uday Nayak and under the able leadership of Barke inspector Rajesh A K, the operation was carried out by Crime SI Narendra, ASI Prakash K, Rajesh Alva, Ganesh, Rajesh Attavar, Kishore Kotian, Jayaram, Kishore Poojary, Nagappa, Nagaraj and Mahesh Patil.

A case has been registered in the Barke police station.
