218 Persons Test Positive and 8 Die Of COVID-19 in DK on July 25

Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 218 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus and eight persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on July 25.

Out of the 218 positive cases, forty-six persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts. Eighty-seven persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and fifteen persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of seventy others.

All the 218 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, 140 persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
