23-year-old Youth Killed on Spot in Car-Truck Collision in Byndoor
Byndoor: A 23-year-old youth died after his car collided with an oncoming Truck at Sankadagundi, Byndoor here on October 17.
The deceased has been identified as Nitin Mogera (23), a resident of Vandse.
The other occupant in the car, Santhosh Shetty (20) was severely injured and admitted to a private hospital.
According to the Byndoor Police, the accident occurred when the car which was moving towards Kundapur collided head on into a truck coming in the opposite direction.
The impact was such that the car was totally damaged. The driver of the car Nithin Mogera died on the spot.
A case has been registered in Byndoor Police Station and investigation is on.
