24-year-old man held for rape under False Promise of Marriage in Shankernarayana
Kundapur: The Shankernaryana police have arrested a 24-year-old man for alleged sexual abuse of a seventeen-year-old girl under the false promise of marriage.
The arrested has been identified as Ashok Naika (24) a resident of Amasebailu Kundapur.
According to the police, Ashok developed a relationship with the girl giving her false promise of marriage. The girl’s father has filed a complaint against Ashok Naika. As per the complaint the police have arrested the accused and produced him before the court. The court has sent Ashok to 14 days of Judicial custody.
