2,448 people under home quarantine in DK
Mangaluru: As many as 2,448 people had been under home quarantine in Dakshina Kannada district as on Monday, said Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh.
Twenty people had completed 28 days period of home quarantine. As many as 12 people had been admitted to hospitals in DK district for observation. Of the 11 samples received, seven had tested negative and were awaiting the results of four samples.
On Monday, seven samples had been sent for testing for coronavirus. As many as 27 people had been quarantined at ESI hospital in Mangaluru. A total of 104 people were screened in the district. On the whole, 37,907 persons have been screened at Mangalore International Airport so far.
