25-year-old Santhosh Dies in Tragic Road Accident
Mangaluru: A 25-year-old bike rider died on the spot after a tipper collided head-on into his bike at Ganjimatt here on December 22.
The deceased has been identified as Santhosh Poojary (25), son of Ramanna Poojary from Shirthadi.
According to the police, Santhosh was coming from Moodbidri to Kaikamba to attend a wedding. At Ganjimatt, a tipper collided head-on into Santhosh’s Bike and dragged him for quite a distance. The impact was such that Santhosh’s head was separated from his body.
A case has been registered in the Bajpe police station.
