25-year-old Youth Dies, Three Injured in Road Mishap at Adyar
Mangaluru: A 25-year-old youth died and three others were injured in a road accident at Adyar, Kannur here on June 26 late night.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Farooq (25) from Adyar and the injured have been identified as Mohammed Haneef, Junaid, Sarfaraj.
According to the police on June 26, late night Mohammed Sarfaraj was driving his car and Zunaid and Faraooq had accompanied him. When the car reached near Kannur Mosque, Sarfaraj received a call and parked the car on the side of the road to answer the phone call. Immediately another car driven by Mohammed Haneef hit the parked car from behind. Farooq who was sitting on the rear seat died due to severe head injuries.
Haneef’s condition is said to be critical. Junaid and Sarfaraj sustained minor injuries.
