25-year-old Youth Killed in Tipper-Bike collision
Mangaluru: A 25-year-old youth died on the spot after a sand-laden lorry collided into his two-wheeler at Thokkottu here on April 27.
The deceased has been identified as Vinith Raj (25) from Kumpala.
Since construction work was going on at Thokkottu over bridge the heavy vehicles were using the bus stand road making it dangerous for two-wheeler riders. On April 27, Vinith who was riding his bike on the Thokkottu bus stand road was hit by a sand-laden tipper Lorry killing Vinith on the spot.
The negligence of the lorry driver is said to have caused the accident.
Ullal police have registered a case and are investigating.
