27-year-old Groom-to-be Dies in Road Mishap
Kundapur: A 27-year-old groom-to-be died in a road accident after he was hit by a bus at Basrur here on March 2.
The deceased has been identified as Deepak (27), a resident of Kathkeri.
According to the police, Deepak was on his way back home from work. While he was crossing the road at Moorakai on NH 66, a bus plying from Udupi hit Deepak injuring him seriously. Deepak was immediately rushed to the hospital but he succumbed to injuries on the way.
Deepak was a daily wage labourer, his marriage was fixed on March 6.
A case has been registered in the Kundapur police station.
