27-year-old Ian Mascarenhas Dies in Road Mishap
Mangaluru: A 27-year-old youth died after he had met with an accident at kuntikan here on December 23.
The deceased has been identified as Ian Mascarenhas (27), son of Stephen Mascarenhas (Hemacharya) from Bondel.
According to the police, on December 22, late night, Ian along with his friends were travelling by car. At Kuntikan, driver of the car lost control and jumped over the median to the other side of the road. Ian sustained severe injuries. All the injured were rushed to A J Hospital where Ian succumbed to injuries on December 23.
Ian was working in the Gulf and had arrived to Mangaluru on holidays.
