28-year-old Woman Dies as Scorpio hits two-wheeler at Kundapur
Kundpaur: A 28-year-old woman died on the spot while her 4-year-old child miraculously escaped unhurt in an accident between a Scorpio and a two-wheeler on NH 66 near Kumbhasi here on July 24.
The deceased has been identified as Sujatha (28), a resident of Koteshwar.
According to the police, While Sujatha along with her four-year-old child was crossing the highway near the circle on the two-wheeler, a Scorpio was heading towards Udupi hit the Two-wheeler. Due to the impact, Sujatha was thrown to the road and died on the spot. Her 4-year-old child who was travelling standing in the front of the scooter miraculously escaped unhurt.
The Kundapur CPI Manjappa and Kundapur Traffic police visited the spot and have registered a case.
