29-year-old Rajesh Dies in Road Mishap at Thokkottu

Mangaluru: A 29-year-old man died on the spot and the pillion rider critically injured after a lorry ran over them at Thokkottu here on November 4.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh (29), a resident of Padil.

As soon as the accident took place the locals gathered and protested against the pathetic condition of the roads which caused the accident. Locals also blocked the highway for some time. The Ullal police inspector Gopikrishna and his team had a tough time to control the protesters.
