3 Interstate Vehicle Thieves Arrested, Rs 20 Lakh Worth Two-wheelers Seized
Mangaluru: The Ullal police have succeeded in arresting three interstate two-wheeler thieves and recovered 15 stolen vehicles from their possession.
The arrested have been identified as Shahir (23), Mohammed Adil (26) and Abdul Munawar Alias Munna (21) from Kerala.
The accused have involved in various vehicle theft cases under the police commissionerate. During interrogation, it was revealed that in the Ullal police station limits 4 cases have been registered against them. In Mangaluru South police station 6 cases, in Mangaluru North police station 2 cases, in Urwa police station 2 cases and in the East police station one case has been registered against them. The police have recovered 15 motorbikes worth Rs 20 lakh from their possession.
Under the direction of ACP of Mangaluru South Sub Division Ram Rao the operation was carried out by the police Inspector of Ullal station Gopikrishna K R, PSIs Vinayak Thoragal and Gurappa Kanthi, ASI Vijayaraj, Mohan K V Radhakrishna Valal and Vishwanath Rai, HC Dinesh, Suresh, Jayaprakash, Praveen, Shanthappa, Prashanth, Vasudev, Ranjith, Lingaraj, Chidanand, Akbar and Suresh.
