3 Youth Arrested For Peddling Drugs, Rs 2.4 Lakh Worth Cocaine Seized
Mangaluru: The Economic and Narcotic Crime Police arrested three drug peddlers and seized 30 grams of cocaine while they were selling it near the Railway staff quarters at Padil here on October 14.
The arrested have been identified as Fasim Naushib (25) from Falnir, Afzal Hussain (28) from Manjeshwar and Muhammed Zahid (26) from Falnir.
According to the CCB and E&C police, after getting reliable information about the drug Peddlers selling cocaine to the public near the Railway staff quarters, at Padil, the CCB police and the E&C police team, got into action and arrested all the three youth. The police also seized 30 grams of cocaine worth Rs 2,40,000, four mobile phones, and a swift car all worth Rs 10 lakh from their possession.
The Economic and Narcotic Crime Police have registered a case search for the others accused in this case is on.
Under the direction of Police commissioner Dr Harsha and the able guidance of DCP L&O Arunagshu and DCP crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh, the operation was carried out by the CCB Inspector Shivaprakash R Naik, PSI Kabbal Raj and team and the Economic and Narcotic Crime Police PSI Latha and team.
