33 Persons Test Positive for Coronavirus in DK on June 26
Mangaluru: According to the state health bulletin, 35 persons have tested positive for the coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada on June 26, taking the total number to 519.
Out of the 33 positive cases, four persons had returned from Saudi Arabia, and six had returned from Qatar. One person had travelled from Maharastra. Patient number 10580 had contracted the disease from patient number 8005, and Patient number 10581 had contracted the disease from patient number 8004.
Four persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and patient number 10588 and 10589 are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection.
Patient number 10592 had contracted the disease from patient number 1025. Patient number 10593 had contracted the disease from patient number 9739, and patient number 10594 had contracted the disease from patient number 8006. Patient number 10584, 10585 10595, 10596, and 10597 had contracted the disease from patient number 9735.
The health officials are tracing the contacts of patient number 10582. Patient number 10583 had travelled from Udupi.
All thirty-three persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
