33-year-old Sujith Killed in Bus-bike Collision at Hiriyadka
Udupi: A 33-year-old motorbike rider was killed on the spot in a collision involving his two-wheeler and a government bus at Hiriyadka here on Thursday, March 15.
The deceased has been identified as Sujith Acharya (33), a resident of Pragathinagar near Manipal.
According to the police, the KSRTC bus was proceeding to Bengaluru from Udupi and the Two-wheeler rider was on his way to Manipal from Hiriyadka, a JCB which was moving in front him suddenly applied the brakes. Bike rider Sujith in order to avoid crashing into the JCB moved the bike to the right side hitting the KSRTC bus coming from the opposite direction. Sujith was Killed on the spot with severe injuries.
The Hiriyadka Police have registered a case.
