35-year-old Parish Priest Fr Paul Dies in Road Mishap
Raichur: A 35-year-old priest died in a road accident in Raichur on March 10 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Fr A Paul (35), Parish Priest of St Francis of Assisi Church Jewalgere, Raichur District.
Fr Paul’s demise is a great loss for the Diocese of Ballari as well for the parishioners of St Francis of Assisi Church. He was a very good preacher, humble and kind. Fr Paul was very active in the pastoral ministry.
Fr Paul had started an English medium school for the poor children in the area as well as for the village children. Since last year he had taken up the renovating work of the Church and the work was near completion. But the Lord called him to reward him with eternal life.
Fr A Paul was born on 26 April 1984 and was ordained on 28 May 2012.
May his soul rest in peace.
