35-year-old youth found dead in room
Udupi: A 35-year-old youth was found dead in his room at Padubidri near Canara Bank ATM here on Monday, September 12.
The deceased has been identified as Sharath (35) a native of Sangli Maharastra. He was doing silver coating working in Padubidri.
According to the police on Sunday night after taking food Sharth went to sleep. On Monday morning till 9:00 am his room was locked from inside. When there was no response despite repeated knocking on the door by neihbours, they peeped through the window only to find Sharath lying still on the bed. Later they informed the police and broke open the door. The police have sent the body for post mortem. It is suspected that Sharath might have died after suffering a stroke.
A case has been registered in the Padubidri Police Station.
