350 Persons Test Positive and 9 Die of COVID-19 in DK on Sept 10
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 350 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus and 9 persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on September 10.
Out of the 350 positive cases, 100 persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts, 119 persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), 27 persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of 104 others.
Out of the 350 cases tested positive, 154 persons are from Mangaluru, 56 from Bantwal, 26 from Puttur, 13 from Sullia, 48 from Belthangady and 53 from other districts
Meanwhile, 170 persons were also discharged from the hospital and COVID Care Centres after complete recovery.
So far 16112 positive cases have been reported in the district and 427 of them have died of the disease. At present, there are 3273 active cases in the district.
