4-year-old girl Drowns while Family Clicks Selfie
Mangaluru: A four-year-old girl drowned while the family members were clicking selfie at Someshwar beach here on December 24.
The deceased has been identified as Maithri (4) from Banashankari Bengaluru.
According to sources, Chithamani and Shradda a couple from Banashankari along with their two children had come to Someshwar beach. When the family was clicking selfie Maithri was washed away by a huge wave. Other members of the family were saved by the lifeguard Mohan.
Maithri’s sister Gargi is admitted to a private hospital in the City.
