45-year-old Accused in Robbery and Murder Cases Stabbed to Death in Bantwal

Bantwal: A 45-year-old man was found dead in a car at Shanti Nagar in Sajipa Munnur here on February 2.

The deceased has been identified as Tasleem (45) from Kerala. Tasleem was involved in murder and robbery cases and was wanted in several cases.

According to sources, Tasleem’s body was found in an Innova car with injuries on his neck and body. Tasleem was involved in several cases and was said to be a member of the Ziya Gang in Kerala. It is suspected that a rival gang killed Tasleem.

The car was spotted in Sajipa in the morning and the locals informed the police. The Bantwal circle inspector Nagaraj and his team reached the spot for further investigations. The body has been shifted to the Government Wenlock Hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered in the Bantwal police station and investigation is on.
