45-year-old Man from Kollur Dies of COVID-19 in Udupi District
Udupi: One more person in Udupi district has died of COVID-19 on July 25 taking the death toll to 15.
According to DHO Dr Sudhir Chandra Sooda, the 45-year-old man from Kollur was admitted to KMC hospital, Manipal for lung cancer.
He was tested positive for COVID-19 and later shifted to designated COVID hospital where he breathed last on July 25 without responding to treatment.
The deceased person’s final rights were conducted in Kollur as per the COVID-19 norms.
