45-year-old Praveen Dies, 2 injured in Alto – Duster Collision at Pumpwell Flyover
Update: The deceased has been identified as Praveen Fernandes (45) owner of Swagath Garage in Tarethota, Nanthur.
According to the police on February 8, at around 5:00 pm, the driver of an Alto Car which was moving from Nanthur towards Ullal at high speed lost control over the vehicle near Indiana Hospital. The Alto car hit the road divider and a Duster car coming from the opposite direction and rolled over to the service road near the Indiana Hospital.
Praveen the occupant in the Duster who was severely injured was rushed to the hospital but breathed his last. The condition of the other two injured is said to be critical.
The negligence of the Alto driver is said to be the reason for the accident.
2 injured in Alto – Duster Collision at Pumpwell Flyover
Mangaluru: Within a week of the inauguration of the Pumpwell Flyover two persons have been injured after the driver of the Alto lost control and the car jumped the divider and hit an oncoming car near Indiana Hospital here on February 8.
Two persons have been severely injured in the mishap.
According to primary reports, the Alto car was moving from Ullal to Mangaluru, near Indiana Hospital, the driver lost control of the car which jumped the divider and crashed into the oncoming car.
In the incident, two people have been severely injured.
