45-year-old rider dies as Car jumps divider and Crashes into two-wheeler in Kaup
Udupi: A 45-year-old two-wheeler rider lost his life on Tuesday, March 10 morning after his two-wheeler was hit by a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga car when the driver lost control over the vehicle. The car hit the median, went over to the other side of the road and crashed into the oncoming two-wheeler on NH 66 near Pangala.
The deceased has been identified as Sudhakar (45) a resident of Kattegudde near Kuthpadi.
According to sources, the two-wheeler rider was on his way to Mangaluru, the Suzuki Ertiga car was going from Kaup to Udupi when the driver lost control over the vehicle. The car first hit the median, jumped over to the other side of the road and crashed into the two-wheeler Sudhakar was riding. Sudhakar who sustained grievous head injuries was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
