45-year-old Sadanand Shetty Dies in Tragic Road Accident
Mangaluru: A 45-year-0ld man died in a tragic road accident in front of A J Hospital here on April 10.
The deceased has been identified as Sadanand Shetty (45), a resident of Suratkal.
According to the police, Sadanand Shetty was on his way towards KPT from Suratkal, a Tanker which was also plying on the same route hit the bike Sadanand Shetty was riding from behind. While Sadanand was thrown to the ground the rear wheels of the tanker ran over him. Sadanand’s body was cut into two pieces.
A case has been registered in Kadri Traffic police station.

Most of the tanker trucks come from Tamilnadu. With the speed they enter City limit is life threatening for slow drivers of smaller vehicles. Look at their speed near Kaikamba Flyover Bridge when they come from Maroli towards Bikarnakatta. I have stopped two of them at Nanthoor Junction through Kadri Traffic Police. Only way to stop this menace is through Public Action with help from Kadri Traffic Police who are very strict.
