48-year-old Hotelier Dies after his Car hits Boar in Byndoor
Kundapur: A 48-year-old Hotelier was killed when the car he was driving hit a boar on yhe Kollur-Byndoor Road on Saturday, May 25 night.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekar Shetty (48) a resident of Mavinakaru Kollur. He was the owner of a Hotel at Kollur.
According to the Byndoor Police, on Saturday night Cahndrashekar Shetty was returning home on his Renault Quid Car after closing the hotel. While Cahndrashekar Shetty was driving on the Kollur – Byndoor road, he saw a boar crossing the road. While trying to avoid hitting the boar Chandrashekar lost control of the vehicle. The car hit the boar, rammed into a tree and fell into the gorge on the side of the road.
Chandrashekar Shetty was severely injured and died on the spot.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor Police Station.
