48-year-old Man from Byndoor Dies of COVID-19 in Udupi District
Udupi: The Udupi district has reported its third COVID-19 death on June 30 after a 48-year-old man from Byndoor died on June 28 at his residence.
The third victim in the district, the 48-year-old man was a resident of Kalthodu, Byndoor Taluk. He was suffering from multi-organ failure.
According to the deputy commissioner, the 48-year-old man had returned from Maharashtra on June 27. He breathed his last on Sunday, June 28. The district administration had collected his throat swab and sent for test. The test report received on Tuesday, June 30 has confirmed him to be positive for COVID-19.
