5 Buses Seized 11 notices issued for Permit Violations in City
Mangaluru: The traffic police department under the able leadership of DCP Crime and Traffic Dr Sanjeev Patil along with the Regional Transport officials checked buses plying the city streets for permit violations at the U P Mallya Road, near RTO here on March 14.
The traffic police assisted the RTO officer in checking the buses.
In the joint operation by the Traffic police and RTO officials, a total of 16 buses were checked for the permit violations and five buses were seized. Notices were issued for 11 buses for not producing the permits during the inspection.
Brake inspector Ravindra assisted the Traffic West police officials during the operations.
RTO …. You could check only 16 buses when there are hundreds of buses running around the place where you conducted your exercise. Come on officials put in all your best and with the power you have, take all the buses to task.
