5 Buses Seized, Drivers Taken into Custody for Damaging Tubular Cones
Mangaluru: The East Traffic police have seized 5 buses including three KSRTC buses and arrested the drivers for damaging the Tubular Cones at Jyothi here on June 27.
In a special traffic drive at Jyothi Circle, the traffic Inspector of East police Station Shivaprakash and team swung into action and booked cases against the bus drivers for violating the traffic rules. During the special drive, the police seized 3 KSRTC and 2 private buses for driving over the Tubular Cones and damaging them.
The City police have installed the tubular cones in the city to reduce traffic congestion but some bus drivers with “I Don’t care” attitude drive the bus over the cones and damage them.
The arrested drivers were produced before the judge and sent to Judicial custody.
Under the direction of Police commissioner T R Suresh, and the guidance of DCP law and order Hanumantharaya and DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashant the special drive was carried out by the East Traffic Inspector Shivaprakash and team to act on those damaging the Tubular Cones.
Their driving licenses should be cancelled. Easy way to control such elements.
