5 Persons suspected of COVID-19 Infection Admitted to Govt Dist hospital Udupi
Udupi: Five persons, suspected of being affected by the coronavirus, have been kept under observation at the isolation ward in the district government Hospital, Udupi on March 17.
Speaking to mediapersons DHO Dr Sudhirchandra Sooda said, “On Tuesday, March 17 we received five suspected cases of COVID-19. All the five persons have been admitted to the district government hospital, out of the five, three had travelled from Dubai, all the three are suffering from fever and cough. One passenger came from Qatar complaining of headache and fever. Another passenger travelled from Kuwait is admitted to the hospital with cough and sore throat.
The samples of all the five patients have been sent for testing and their reports are awaited,” he said.
