50 Golden Years for St Aloysius Evening PU College
Mangaluru: Speaking on the Occasion of valedictory of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of St Aloysius Evening PU College held on 13th December 2016, the Chief Guest Dr C K Manjunath, the Administrator, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management acknowledged the efforts of the College uplifting the future of its students and bringing fame and name to themselves and the College in their Country and abroad. He compared the College to Great Indian Universities such as Nalanda and Varnasai and said Aloysius itself was no less in comparison to these great Institutions and thus alighted the position of the College to greater heights and glory.
Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, the Rector of St Aloysius Institutions presided over the function and said that in order to enhance one’s knowledge one has to have intelligence and to develop that he needs experience. He appreciated the hard work of the students of the evening PU College and spending their evenings fruitfully in the College in order to be educated.
Rev. Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ, the Principal presented the College report and the convener Mrs Reena J Monteiro welcomed the gathering. Also on the dais, were the Finance Officer Rev. Fr John Lang Bosco SJ, and the Coordinator of the Evening PU College Dr Pradeep M. The programme was compered by Mr Sunil.
The students presented a Kannada Play with a theme of Communal harmony which was the highlight of the Celebrations. The atmosphere was filled with music and dance to mark the Golden Jubilee year.
