50-year-old Man from Sullia arrested under POCSO Act
Sullia: A 50-year-old man was arrested under the POCSO Act for sexually harassing a minor girl under the Bellare police station limits here on July 28.
The arrested has been identified as Selva Kumar (50) from Bellare, Sullia.
According to sources, Selva Kumar was luring his neighbour a minor girl by giving her chocolates. The accused used to take her to his house when she used to play outside. He was continuously raping her for about four months.
On July 28, the victim revealed the incident to her parents. Immediately they filed a complaint in the Bellare police station.
The Bellare police registered a case against the accused and arrested him under the POCSO Act.
