50-year-old Woman dies on Spot after Ambulance Collides into Two-wheeler near KPT
Mangaluru: In a tragic incident a woman lost her life after an ambulance collided into her two-wheeler, near KPT here on January 30.
The deceased has been identified as Sujatha J Shetty (50) from Addur.
According to sources, on January 30, Sujatha along with her husband Jagadish Shetty was on her way to Bejai on the two-wheeler. When they reached near KPT, an ambulance carrying a dead body from a private hospital to Kerala collided into a two-wheeler. Sujatha was thrown to the road and died on the spot.
Rider Jagadish has been injured in the incident and admitted to the hospital.
It is learnt that the Ambulance driver lost control of the vehicle which led to the accident.
The Traffic police have reached the spot and have registered a case.
