52-year-old Soft Drink Factory owner dies of Electric Shock
Karkal: A 52-year-old man died of electric shock while switching off the generator at Ajekar here on June 22.
The deceased has been identified as Ratnavarma Jain (52) from Thellaru, Karkal.
According to sources, on June 21, there was some electrical problem in the soft drink factory, and the generator was in use. The electrical problem was rectified by an electrician the same day. On June 22, Ratnavarma came to the factory, and as the fault was repaired, he went to switch off the generator.
As there was water near the generator, Ratnavarma collapsed of electric shock and died on the spot.
Ratnavarma was a Kambala lover and had achieved a lot in the Kambala. A case has been registered in the Ajekar police station, and the investigation is on.
