56-year-old Man Hit by train While Crossing Railway Track Dies
Mangaluru: A 56-year-old man died after he was hit by a train while crossing the railway track at Thokkottu here on February 22.
The deceased has been identified as Venkappa Poojary (56), a resident of Ombattukere Ullal.
According to the railway police, on February 22, it is suspected that Venkappa was crossing the railway track at Thokkottu at the time of the incident.
The railway police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Mortuary.
A case has been registered by the railway police and investigation is on.
