61-year-old Former Don Yekkur Baba Passes Away
Mangaluru: Former Don Yekkur Baba alias Shubhakar Shetty died of COVID-19 on August 14. He was 61.
Yekkur Baba was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru and on August 14, breathed his last without responding to the treatment.
It is learnt that last week his mother had also died after suffering from health issues. After the cremation of his mother, Yekkur Baba was suffering from fever and had gone to the hospital for a check-up. During the test, Yekkur Baba was confirmed to be positive for the Coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital.
On August 14, Yekkur Baba breathed his last without responding to treatment.
