63-year-old Man from Byndoor Dies of COVID-19 in Udupi District
Udupi: One more person in Udupi district has died of COVID-19 on July 25 taking the total COVID-19 death toll to 16.
According to DHO Dr Sudhir Chandra Sooda, a week ago the 63-year-old man from Byndoor was admitted to District hospital for Asthama treatment where he was tested positive for COVID-19. During the treatment, his condition worsened, and he was shifted to a private hospital at Udupi where he breathed his last on July 25 without responding to the treatment.
The deceased person’s final rights have been conducted in Byndoor as per the COVID-19 norms.
