67-year-old Woman, Neighbour of COVID-19 Deceased from Bantwal Tests Positive
Mangaluru: The report of a 67-year-old woman from Bantwal, the neighbor of the 50-year-old COVID-19 deceased woman has tested positive for the disease.
On April 18, both the women from Bantwal were admitted to the COVID Block at the Wenlock Hospital. Their throat SWAB was sent for a test. On April 19 the 50-year-old woman died of the disease before the doctors were able to get her report. The doctors received the report of the deceased late afternoon which confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
On April 21, the report of the 67-year-old woman, the neighbor of the deceased also confirmed positive for COVID-19. With 7 new cases being reported in the state, the total number of positive cases has increased to 415 with 17 deaths.
