73 Persons Test Positive for Coronavirus in DK on July 15
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, 73 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus, and four persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on July 15.
Out of the 73 positive cases, three persons had returned from the Gulf. Eleven persons had contracted the disease from primary contacts. Twenty-three persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and three persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of thirty-two others.
All the 73 persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
On July 15, 104 persons were also discharged from the hospital (including private hospitals) after complete recovery.
