75th Tulu Movie ‘Panoda Bodcha’, to Hit Silver Screen on Nov 18

75th Tulu Movie ‘Panoda Bodcha‘, to Hit Silver Screen on Nov 18

Mangaluru: “Under the banner of Vraddi Cini Creations, Tulu Movie “Panoda Bodcha”, will be released on November 18, in 14 theatres across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts”, said the co-producer of the Movie Sundar Rai Mandara in a press meet held at Hotel Foodland here on November 16.

Addressing the mediapersons Sundar Rai said, “The Panoda Bodcha is a family story and the suspense of the movie is the main highlight. Shivadhwaj and Shakuntala play the lead roles. Kannada actors Vinay Prasad and Harish Roy are also acting in this movie. Kishore D Shetty, Sita Kote, Ila Vittal, Yogesh Acharya, Chetan Rai Mani, Naveen D Padil, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar, Sathish Amin, Chandrahas Shetty Mani, Ravi Kumar Suratkal, Deepak Rai Panaje, Prakash Thuminadu, Girish Shetty, Rashmika, Abhilash, Baby Thirtha Polali and Baby Havya Narayan among others are acting in this movie. Sharan Pumpwell and Ramesh Nayak Rayi play a special role in the movie”.

Sundar Rai further said, “Panoda Bodcha”, is the 75th movie in the Tulu film industry. The film has been shot in Odyame Estate Ramakunja belonging to Muttappa Rai and in and around B C Road. The entire movie has been shot in 187 locations. On November 18, the film will be released in Mangaluru (three theatres), Suratkal, Udupi, Manipal, Karkala, Moodbidri, Beltangady, Puttur and Sullia.

The film is directed by Madhu Suratkal, Story-dialogues and the movie is co-produced by Sundar Rai Mandara.

Naveen D Padil said, “This is a must watch movie. Due to the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes people may hesitate to watch the movie, but the currency will be accepted at the ticket counter unless there is a strict government rule not to accept it. People of Mangaluru should support the artistes by watching this movie.”

Mahesh Puttur, Kishore D Shetty and others were also present.
