8 Chhattisgarh Laborers Detained for fighting in public place

8 Chhattisgarh Laborers Detained for fighting in public place

Udupi: Eight labourers from Chhattisgarh were detained by Udupi Town Police on September 23 for allegedly engaging in a fight and disturbing the peace near AGP Labor Colony, close to the Swarna River Bridge in Nayampalli, Puttur village.

The detained accused are Mukram, Subhash Kumar, Ashim, Vikas, Sant Lal, Vishal, Magesh, and Akhilesh, all from Chhattisgarh state.

They had come to Udupi for pipeline work and were residing in a shed near AGP Labour Colony in Nayampalli.

The eight labourers got into a fight over a minor issue, disturbing the public and creating a scary environment. The Udupi Town Police have filed a case against them for disrupting public peace.

Following the incident, the police detained eight labourers. Some labourers suffered minor injuries, but none were seriously harmed, according to the police.
