80-year-old Man with Lung Disease Dies of Covid-19 in Kundapur
Kundapur: Udupi district recorded Ninth Covid-19 death, as an 80-year-old man, a native of Kirimanjeshwara, Kundapur died of the deadly virus on July 17.
According to the DHO Dr Sudhir Chandra Sooda, the 80-year-old man of Kundapur died on July 17. He had an infection in his lungs. He was a patient with lung disease for many years. He had arrived at the private hospital in Kundapur two days ago and was having fever since then. He was tested positive for Covid-19. On July 17 he breathed last without responding to treatment.
With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths in Udupi District has one up to Nine.
