Mangaluru: The Chamundi Challenge 2023, a highly anticipated cycling competition, took place on February 19, 2023, in Mysuru, attracting participants of various age categories from across the region. This event, organized by the Mysuru Cycling Club, commenced at the iconic Chamundi Hill Arch at 6:30 a.m. and concluded at the picturesque Devikere atop the hills, showcasing the scenic beauty of the area while promoting sporting spirit among cyclists.
Among the participants, sixty-three-year-old Joseph Pereira from Mangalore distinguished himself by clinching first place in the Veteran Men (55-plus years) category.
